WHAT IS IT? This is the Calico Rock School District’s parent organization where parents can work together to improve the children’s educational and social environment. Other schools may call their parent group a PTA or PTO. Come see some of the new things purchased for use in the parent center and help decide what else you would like to see offered!
WHY BE A PART? This is another way that you as a parent can be involved in your child’s education. It is important for your child to see that you are interested in his/her school experiences. We discuss things our students and teachers need to improve education, improve the school environment, or make teaching and learning easier. Many ideas and thoughts are better than a just a few!
WHEN? We meet the second Monday of every month at a time to be determined by the Parents who attend the first meeting in the Parent Center located at the Calico Rock Elementary.
