The Calico Rock High School Library Media Center provides access to information for all students.

Destiny Online

Destiny Online allows students to search the Calico Rock High School Library Media Center online catalog for books and materials in the local collection. Students may then visit the LMC to obtain these materials. 

 

 

Digital eBooks, Audiobooks and Video from OverDrive

 

Calico Rock School Library Media Centers expands its services with eBooks, digital audiobooks and streaming video available to our patrons.  Library card holders can borrow popular digital media anytime, anywhere by visiting https://calicoar.lib.overdrive.com.

Users may browse the library’s website, borrow titles with a valid library card, and start reading, listening or watching on all major computers and devices, including iPhone, iPad, Nook, Android phones and tablets and Kindle.  Many titles can be enjoyed immediately on any device with an internet browser or downloaded into the free OverDrive app.  All titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period.  There are no late fees!

This service, provided by OverDrive, is free for users with a library card.  These cards can be obtained by contacting the Library Media Specialist.   OverDrive is the leading global digital distribution platform, supplying the industry’s largest catalog of eBooks, audiobooks, periodicals and streaming video to libraries, schools and retailers worldwide.  Founded in 1986, OverDrive is based in Cleveland, OH.   To get started enjoying eBooks, audiobooks and more, visit https://calicoar.lib.overdrive.com.

 Renaissance Place

Renaissance Place allows CRHS students the capability of taking Accelerated Reader or Accelerated Math quizzes.  AR books are available in the CRHS Library Media Center.  For more information on AR or AM requirements, contact the Library Media Specialist or an English/Language Arts teacher or a Mathematics Teacher.
