Vision Statement

Calico Rock Elementary School’s vision is to provide a quality education for every child.  Our students, faculty, staff, parents, and community are each vital components in accomplishing this goal.

We are committed to providing an environment where students are safe, comfortable, respected, successful, accepted, and treated equally resulting in a positive attitude and excitement for learning.

Our faculty and staff are willing to go above and beyond to meet the needs of every child emotionally, physically, and educationally.  We model professionalism in our dress, attitude, and conduct.  We are life-long learners who take pride in our work as a team for the betterment of our school.

We maintain open communications with parents and the community and believe their involvement is crucial to student learning.  Our parents and community are welcomed, needed, and appreciated as partners for student success.

Our curriculum meets and exceeds academic standards, is aligned with state and national frameworks, and is implemented through research-based practices.  Our goal is to develop the 21st century learner and meet the needs of a growing technological world where education goes beyond high school.

We believe nothing should hinder a child’s quality of education.  We aspire to create a learning environment that every child would desire.
