APSCN Student Applications  is an integral part of the Arkansas Public School Computer Network Unit.

MISSION:  To provide all Arkansas public schools, charter schools, and education service cooperatives electronic access to student administrative computing services that provide state and local decision makers accurate, timely and comprehensive information.

APSCN Student Applications is the student management software used by Arkansas public schools, charter schools, and other state supported entities. The current software, StudentPlus, is being replaced by eSchoolPlus, a completely web-based system. The system includes all phases of student management, including demographics, medical, discipline, testing, scheduling, grades and attendance.  Additionally, eSchoolPlus streamlines communication for teachers, parents, and administrators via Teacher Access Center and Home Access Center.  The Unit  has a field support staff that provides end-user training and technical support; a telephone help desk staff that provides procedural and technical support to resolve end-user problems, and a website (www.apscn.org) that has eSchoolPlus documentation, step-by-step procedures, outlines, and various automated reports to assist schools in managing their student and administrative records, making sound management decisions, and analyzing student growth and the school’s effectiveness.

Each district's data is stored in a database housed at the Arkansas Department of Information Systems.  Data is pulled from the databases and stored in a statewide data warehouse during nine statewide reporting cycles.  Data is pulled from the warehouse using Cognos Business tools to compile required state and federal reports and statistical information.
