Thanks to your commitment to the National Beta motto, Let Us Lead by Serving Others, your Beta Club achieved 2020 GRAND SLAM Service status. This means that each of your members knocked service out of the park by spending 100+ hours serving their school, community, and state.
Thank you to all the faculty members and the Calico Rock Community for your help on supporting our kids during the COVID-19 pandemic. May 17 : Last Day to turn in AMI work. Please make sure all packets and or online work is turned in no later than May 17. All BOOKS and DEVICES must be turned in by May 20. School offices are open until 3:00 p.m. each day. If you haven't turned in your work or device they are overdue.
May 20: 10:00 a.m. We will be hosting a Facebook Live Academic Awards Assembly to honor our students who have excelled in their academics. Completers of our Career and Technical Programs will be announced on that day also.
May 20: 1:00 p.m. We will be hosting a Facebook Live Athletic Awards Assembly to honor our athletes this year. Mr. and Miss Pirate will be announced at that time.
Recipients of the Harold Ray Jeffrey Scholarship and Mr. and Miss CRHS will announced at graduation this year so they will be awarded in person.
Videos of both assemblies will be put on our website as soon as possible.
The Class of 2020 of Calico Rock High School will be have commencement ceremonies on July 10. Please mark your calendars and come and celebrate with this class.

The Arkansas Governor's Distinguished Scholarship is awarded annually to the top students in the state. Criteria for the scholarship are: 32 or higher on the ACT and a gpa of at least 3.5. This is a $10,000 renewable scholarship for up to 4 years totaling $40,000. We are pleased to recognize Calico Rock senior Emma Mitchell who was recently awarded this scholarship! Emma scored a 33 on the ACT and will graduate as Valedictorian of the 2020 class with a gpa of 4.225 while completing 27 college hours. Congratulations, Emma! We are proud of you! Go Pirates!
Student of the Week!
Calico Rock Elementary will host a drive through Kindergarten registration on May 1 and May 4 from 8:00-3:00. We will be set up for pick up by the Big Tree doors. Your child must be 5 on or before August 1. Please bring your child's Birth Certificate, Social Security Card and Immunization record. Your child will be required to have a physical, the form will be included in your packets. We will be able make copies of your items for you if you don't have copies made for us. You may fill out your forms and drop them off in our Drop Boxes located in the front of the building, or you may buzz the office and someone can collect it from you.
