Trunk or Treat

As a school district, this year our motto is "Better Together" because we truly believe that together with parents, students, faculty, staff, and community we can be better.

To kickstart this community partnership of "better together," we would like to host a community trunk or treat here in the CRES parking lot.

We would love for churches, fire departments, clubs, and businesses to get involved in this. We know many of you already host a trunk or treat at your location, but we would love for you to do what you normally would, just here in our parking lot.

A community trunk or treat at CRES also makes for easier access to Main Street, before or after coming here.

Here is our invitation to our 1st annual CRES Community Trunk or Treat.

On Saturday, October 26, seven of the Calico Rock High School students attended the Junior High Quiz Bowl Camp at Cotter High School.  Approximately 36 7th-9th graders from 8 schools were first mixed/matched and then placed on four teams.

After playing four games on the day, Lizzy McCreary's team placed second and her and her team members each received a $15 Amazon Gift Card.  Gracie Hicks' team finished third and each member of her team received a $10 Amazon Gift Card.

Lily Rush earned a spot on the All Tournament Team, earning a $25 Amazon Gift Card along with her teammates.

Our students had a great experience today and they represented our school wonderfully.  Special thanks to Leisha McCoy for accompanying the players and for her continued support of Quiz Bowl.
