Student of the Week!

Charity Littrell- 7th grade

Charity is full of energy and keeps me on my toes in the classroom. She works very hard to complete her assignments and almost always has a positive attitude. The witty banter that we exchange often leads to smiles on our faces and those of her classmates. Charity is a little bit of sunshine on a cloudy day.

Tonight's games at Flippin

Tonight our junior teams travel to Flippin for games.  Flippin did not send us tickets.  They are letting people enter on a first come first serve basis.  Their gates open between 4:00 and 4:30 today.

Come out and support the Pirates.  Flippin has a large gym so there should be room for the Pirate Nation to show up!

Financial Aid Night for Seniors

Tuesday, October 27th we will be having a financial aid night for seniors and parents of seniors from 4-6:30 pm.  The financial aid department from Ozarka will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.  You will be able to complete your FAFSA this night for your child to go to college next fall. It will be filled out using the parent's 2018 taxes. There was a sign up sheet that allowed seniors to sign up for a timeslot last week.  Please check with your child to see if they signed up.  If they didn't and you would like to, please call Mrs. Stephanie at 870-297-3745.  We will practice social distancing and wear masks. Please only come during a time you signed up for as it allows us to limit the number of people congregated.

Basketball Tickets Available

If you don't have an entrance ticket from an athlete, we can not guarantee that you will be able to enter the gym.

We have some extra tickets available for the games on Thursday, October 22 if you would like to come by the office at the high school and pick them up.

They will be on a first come first serve basis.

You can also call 870-297-3745 for more information.

Student of the Week!

Kali Ricketts- 11th grade

While Kali is new to our district, she has not only worked hard to attain good grades, she has also worked hard to contribute to classroom discussions and clarifications for other members to "see" different perspectives.  Kali's unique point of view often gives students and myself a new lens to view old material, and it is quite refreshing.

Student of the Week! Week of October 5

Christine Williamson- 12th grade

In the few months I've known her, Christine has worked extremely hard for the music programs in this school. Between extra practices and taking the time to help her teacher with copies and filing music, she is always willing to go above what is asked of her.
