Given that the number of positive cases in our county has remained low, our school board decided it was time to lift the mask mandate at our schools.
Wearing a mask at school is now optional. We applaude any students or staff members who choose to wear a mask due to protecting themselves or loved ones they may reside with, however, if students or staff members choose not to wear masks they have the option to do so.
We have been able to "see" lots of smiling faces today. We have missed them.
Let's continue good practices to keep COVID and other illnesses at bay.
