We'd love to welcome our new K-12 Music Teacher, Lexi Reimer to CRSD!
Originally from Wylie, Texas, Lexi graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 2021 and has experience teaching elementary music, band, and choir at White Hall, Glen Rose, Pulaski County, and South Side Bee Branch. Her choirs have consistently advanced to state competition, including earning Best in Class for 2A this year. In addition to being a vocalist, she also plays piano, ukulele, and flute.
Lexi is excited to join the Calico Rock community and says the opportunity feels full circle, as her own high school mascot was also the Pirates. She and her fiancé - soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Bunch this summer - along with their two pups, are excited to become part of Pirate Nation!

It is our pleasure to welcome Lea Killian as our new Art Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Lea, who graduated from CRHS in 2012, is looking forward to being part of Pirate Nation once again. A few highlights about Lea:
"I am a published poet and painter, I enjoy traveling for new hikes & swimming holes, and I have four dogs. I believe everyone is an artist in their own way and I look forward to helping to guide students in their own creative journeys."

Please help us welcome Ann Wooten to CRSD as our new Bookkeeper!
Ann has called Calico Rock home for over 40 years and is a proud CRHS Class of 1992 graduate. She loves her people, being "Nana" and "Nans," hunting, fishing, and of course being a true CR Pirate!
We are excited to have her joining the Pirate family in this new role!

Kenley recently earned the title of Arkansas Junior High Pole Bending Champion, qualifying for the National Junior High Finals Rodeo in June through her outstanding dedication, determination, and hard work throughout the season.
In addition to her championship title, Kenley was also selected as the recipient of the NHSRA Crisis Fund Scholarship. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional character, perseverance, empathy, kindness, attitude, and work ethic both in and out of the arena.
Kenley represents the very best of Pirate pride through her leadership, sportsmanship, resilience, and heart. We are incredibly proud of the example she sets for others and cannot wait to see all she accomplishes at the national level.
Congratulations, Kenley!
