The board meeting that was scheduled for Monday, September 29 has been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 30 at 6:00 in the Elementary Library. 

District Tournament Results

Hello everyone!  Tomorrow morning from 7:20-7:50 is See You At The Pole.  We will start with worship followed by a short devotion.  Afterward, we will gather around the pole and pray.  Once we get done praying, we will have donuts and breakfast drinks at the high school. Elementary will have normal school breakfast.

We have an athletic booster club meeting at the high school cafeteria at 5:30 p.m.  Anyone from the community may attend.  If you have a child that participates in any sport we hope you come and support our school's athletics.

The halls of CRES were filled with pirates Friday. Shiver me timbers, it's Talk Like a Pirate Day!

The Dynamic Duo is at it again. Calico Rock FCS teacher, Mindy Woods, is teaming up with the Izard County Extension Agent, Elizabeth Daigle, to plan a successful year for our students and community. Be on the lookout for upcoming events. Students will learn about Babysitting Basics, Food Preservation, Food Safety and more!

Please check with your child.  Mid-term grades have been sent home this week.  This is a great way to see how your child is doing in their class or classes.  

The CRES Chess Club had their first practice today! A few students were out spending time with their grandparents after our school's Grandparents Celebration, but we still had a fantastic turnout. It's going to be an amazing year for chess at CRES!
