Calico Rock School District is proud to celebrate one of our very own, Kenley Whiteaker! Kenley recently earned the title of Arkansas Junior High Pole Bending Champion, qualifying for the National Junior High Finals Rodeo in June through her outstanding dedication, determination, and hard work throughout the season.
In addition to her championship title, Kenley was also selected as the recipient of the NHSRA Crisis Fund Scholarship. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional character, perseverance, empathy, kindness, attitude, and work ethic both in and out of the arena.
Kenley represents the very best of Pirate pride through her leadership, sportsmanship, resilience, and heart. We are incredibly proud of the example she sets for others and cannot wait to see all she accomplishes at the national level.
